After delays in Tokyo and Detroit [computer failures in Japan led to missed flights in Detroit], we finally hit Raleigh and then the parents drove us that last 2 1/2 hours down the home stretch to J'ville. Only there about 5 hours later than we should have been. All things considered, the fact we got there the same day was impressive.



Mom decided to break out the decorations from Sandy's Hawaii themed bachelorette party from nearly a decade ago to welcome us home.

With full forethought and preparation, and in anticipation of returning home and wanting to take full advantage of Amazon's free shipping [shipping to Japan is a bi&*h], I spent the last 2 months or so buying and having stuff shipped to Jacksonville.
