Among the comics, which were your favorites?
ReplyDeleteNowhere Men was excellent, but looks like there'll be no volume 2 coming anytime soon, so that's frustrating. I'm really digging Rucka & Lark's Lazarus, but it's kind of a slow burn/slow build. Pak & Van Lente's early volumes on Incredible Hercules are awesome, but by the time the Chaos War rolls around it seems to have lost a step. Zero Vol 1 was really, really good... Vol 2 not quite as strong, but I'm def picking up 3 when it comes out. And The Secret Service: Kingsman is standard-ish Millar fare, fun and contrary, with some beautiful Gibbon's art.
ReplyDeletePicked up Lazarus vol 1 trade over the weekend at the comic store and enjoyed it (wish I would have grabbed vol 2 too). Also bought the 100 bullets trade, but have yet to read it. Cheers!
