I love Bukatsudo-Shokai.

Introduction of the student clubs. I always get a kick outta the kids selling their hobbies. Good stuff.

Student council member, baseball team captain, good kid, total ham.

LISTEN TO THEM. THEY ROCK.

Watched 4/13 - 4/19.

Breaking Bad, Bully Beatdown, Castle, House, Reaper, Free to Choose [PBS], Daily Show, Colbert Report, Ultimate Fighter, 30 Rock, The Office, Scrubs...

Heroes - done with this, I think... life's too short to keep watching stuff that's only kinda good some of the time...

UFC 97 - Rua/Liddell = fight of the night. Hell of a left hook.

Krod Mandoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire
- New show on Comedy Central. Sword and sorcery spoof. Surprisingly clever. Matt Lucas from Little Britain as the bad guy. Worth watching.

Parks and Recreation - glimmers of good stuff towards the end of this one. Give it one more week.

The Beast - scripts are finally worthy of the performances.

Primeval - this show is radically different with the cast changes. Needs to find... something.

"Quick!"

Training 316/317.

316 - rest/free

317 - bodyweight circuit - 5circuits/10reps/time 28:34
*Body-Weight Squat
*Hand Walkout – from knees
*Single-Leg Deadlift
*Push-Up
*Jumping Jack
*Reverse Lunge – overhead reach
*Pike Push-Up
*Mountain Climber

Sauerkraut, Day 1.

I'll let you know how it goes. [You know, it occurs to me I'm not really sure how sauerkraut is supposed to taste.]

This shit is awesome.

Crunchy onion ring flavor for salads. Brilliant.

Random Japanese parents give me things.

Biking home from the post office the other day and I'm flagged down by a Japanese lady on the side of the road. Turns out she's the mom of one of the kids I taught 3 and a half years ago, my first year in Japan, and she wanted tell me that her daughter started college this year [awesome, but I'm getting older, jeez] and she wanted to give me some free lettuce. It's strange, that first batch of kids I would have only taught for about 6 months before they graduated, and I didn't feel like I got to know them nearly as well as the kids I have in the intervening years. But they, and their parents, apparently, remember me. Way cool.
