  1. Not much overlap in our reading, although of course we have both read the L. Neil Smith novel. Which of the self help/personal philosophy books do you particularly recommend?

    1. No, not much overlap. Didn't get to read as much this past year what with all the international complications and whatnot. Personal philosophy/self help - this past year "Discipline Equals Freedom" I found useful, but the mindset works for me in large because of my experience in the military. All time stuff, I like the works of Dan Millman - "Way of the Peaceful Warrior" - and Richard Bach - "Illusions." But those were books I read during formative teenage years. Early Tony Robbins stuff I like, I actually found a bit of crossover with RAW in terms of state, frame and reality tunnels. There's also a bit of NLP and Ericksonian hypnosis. But past his first two books, "Awaken the Giant Within" and "Unlimited Power" his stuff gets a bit... repetitive, maybe? Unnecessary? And you already know about the Scott Adams book. As in all things, YMMV.

    2. There's a bit in Illusions about "manifesting" a feather that always struck me exactly the same as RAW's manifesting/finding a quarter trick, though I didn't put it together until I read RAW years later.

    3. Also, it occurred to me that you might enjoy Department of Truth, by James Tynion. It's a comic, so don't know if you find the medium appealing, but it's a fun/interesting take on conspiracy theory.

    4. I've been reading more comics lately. I think "How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big" by Scott Adams may be my favorite self-help book.

  2. The year is 2022. Every day is a clash for young people to learn and stay pertinent in a world where outdated knowledge is fading and every form of knowledge is being collected and dispersed through a network of electric devices. What are the ways the character learns about the world around him. How does he stay relevant. What will happen if he doesn't stay relevant.

  3. These authors have written books on how to incorporate the TB12 Method into your life.

The TB12 Method is a fitness and nutrition plan created by Tom Brady, the quarterback for the New England Patriots. This method focuses on healthy eating and exercise. The method has been used by celebrities and athletes alike who are trying to maintain their health while still being able to perform at a high level.

The TB12 Method has been incorporated into books by Claire Prentice, Ant Middleton, Price Pritchett, Charles Veley, John McCallum. These books allow you to take a step towards living healthier without having to put in as much effort as you would with other diets or exercises.
