Dear God What do you mean that you aren't allowed in School? Every day there is a moment of "personal prayer, or reflection" during morning announcements and during Remembrance day. We sing your name during the national anthem. Your Bible is studied as literature in our English classes, we pray to you before every sporting event, we have youth groups, Christian groups, Muslim groups, and Jewish groups. In History we learn about the influence your worshiper's have had on the world. We recognize your holy days as holidays unlike any other religion. We study your holy image in Art class. We allow your Gideons to distribute Bibles, your Jehovah Witnesses to abstain from standing for the anthem, and your Mormons to refuse vaccinations, and we all can feel free to wear your symbols. Your influence is even felt in many science classes as many schools are forced to teach that "evolution is just a theory." All of this rhetoric is meaningless anyway, because even if all of this weren't ABSOLUTELY TRUE, you are, by your very nature, EVERYWHERE. So, if you wouldn't mind, can you explain more fully what you mean? -An increasingly concerned student. P.S. It also seems paradoxical that the worlds most religious countries, such as Nigeria and America, are among the most violent and crime ridden, whereas secular countries, like Japan and New Zealand, are among the most peaceful.
Dear increasingly concerned student. I'm sorry. I don't have time to acknowledge these points as long as there are babies to kill, AIDS to spread, old people to make senile, and sporting events to influence. If you have any further questions please feel free to ask your official local Vatican sponsored child molester. -God. P.S. Good luck fitting your point-of-view on a t-shirt.

it's always God's fault? So there's no devil that deceives man?
ReplyDeleteNo. [And no 'god' either. Certainly not the commonly accepted version espoused by the major faiths.]
