Early Christmas, Year II.

Last year we did early Christmas due to our China trip, this year we did it because on Xmas day and the day after we're gonna be up in Hiroshima/Miyajima.

Kicked off with mandatory Japanese-y KFC and cake.

I've spent the last several years dominating Sandy with my taste for chocolate cakes on Xmas, so this year we went for a berry cheesecake type thing.

Christmas, like Thanksgiving and its mandatory Sound of Music viewing, has its own required viewings [according to the Mrs]:

Sandy's other present. Seriously, she likes it when I grow it out. I'd just as soon keep it shaved down. Yes, that actually does count as an Xmas present.

I, on the other hand, approach my gifts cautiously...

But my friends take care of me for the holidays...

Including one young lady who won't quit till I one day accept Jesus. Poor girl :)

And some friends know me, and treat me, entirely too well.

The best part? Due to the vagaries and fluctuations of international shipping, I'm gonna have a whole second part to my Xmas when the rest of my presents show up on our doorstep.

Till then, happy holidays to you. And you. And you.
