Over my spring break Sandy and I went down to Huis Ten Bosch, "a Dutch city in Kyushu, Japan. Experience the Romance of Europe. Stroll along the canals and 17th century Dutch houses. Stand atop a historic church tower and take a breathtaking bird's eye view of one of Kyushu's finest bay areas."
One part theme park, one park flower garden and one part kitsch, it was really quite nice. Good food, beautiful scenery, nice psuedo-historical ambience... it was a really good visit for a couple days. Well worth the trip down to Nagasaki.
