Overheard in Liberia - "There were rumors that the Mandigos were attacking..."

You know, growing up a young man in NC, not a phrase I'd have expected to ever hear in conversation.  Just goes to show ya.

And, you know, that's Mandingo in the sense of the ethnic group in West Africa [also, Mandinka] NOT the eponymous blaxploitation film of the 1970s starring Ken Norton.
